Change of name?Change of name topic:
I have a little announcement to do and it is related to our names (Sachiko's and mines).
My name is Bruno Giordano (as some of you knows) and Sachiko's is Leticia Fleitas (as many of you may know, as she almost ever signs her digital drawings as it). About five years ago we made up those nicknames. Sachiko for Leticia, es Leticia means Happyness, and Kuromaru for me, as Bruno means brown or dark (sometimes black too). Fukayama was a mixture from our surnames: Fuka was for Giordano and Yama for Fleitas. I'm not going to make an extend speech about all the research behind our nicknames.
We legal-registered those artistic names, so we could use'em as the real ones. All fine until that point. The matter is taht we really don't see the need to wear those names anymore.
Besides of that, I'm just sick od the questions: does your name stands for that Naruto's dog? or is Sachikos name from xxx anime's character? In spite of the fact that the Kuromaru I use is spelled different fron the dog's.
Ah, by the way, Sachiko... I mean, Leticia wanted me to say that we don't watch anime cartoons. We used to watch the old century's anime, but she don't watch new anime, and I almost don't neither.
Now about copyrights and the like. What it is old, it is old, but what's going to come will stand like "© 2009 Leticia Fleitas. Sayomi Blackstone from Krow © 2006-2009 Fukayama Couple". We are not going to move nor create a new user. We will countinue to use this one, but understand that when we write 'Fukayam Couple' we mean those 'Kuromaru Fukayama' and 'Sachiko Fukayama' that are just we (Bruno Giordano & Leticia Fleitas). I'll just keep writing 'Fukayam Couple' as it is our username and it is also mor short than 'Bruno Giordano & Leticia Fleitas'. Time will say.
Oh, by the way, you'll see a 'B' signing my messenges and an 'L' signing Leticia's (Sachiko's)... Please don't ask is that 'L' standing for DeathNote's 'L'?!!! Thank you!
Other matters:
As many of you came to know, Sachiko is tired of pinting digitaly by mouse (she never had a tablet), so she started to paint traditionaly. That doesn't mean that she will never paint by mouse, it just means that the most of her stuff will be handmade from now on.
Oh, god, I need to stop writting Sachiko! I'm so used to do it. May be sometime you may see still a K signing my messenges, please pardon me, I'm really used to it (really mechanized... is that a word?).
About Krow:
I'm going to make journal uploads about our characters... Or may be I'll made those info on deviations, I don't know. But I'll start to upload more info about the story soon.

Una pregunta que tenia para hacerles con el tema del copyright, como se registra y eso? o sea, el procedimiento, y que tipo de proteccion tiene, queria estudiarlo bien porque tengo ganas de registrar algunas cosas que he hecho y ta, me gustaria una opinion de alguien que tiene
Sobre el copyright, bueno, el copyright es un derecho tuyo y por ser el autor de una obra alcanza. Claro, al momento de realizar procedimientos legales tendrías que poder probar tu autoría y la fecha de creación de la obra, es por eso nada más que se registra.
El registro en este país lo podés hacer a través de la Biblioteca Nacional (la última ves que supe te cobraban el 75% de una UR). El registro en B.N. dura toda la vida del autor más 50 años desde su fallecimiento. Otro lugar, y el más conveniente, es la Asociación General de Autores del Uruguay (A.G.A.D.U.), que realizan un registro propio más el de la B.N., siendo poco más caro, pero mejor. La jurisdicción de la BN es, como lo dice el nombre, Nacional, mientras que AGADU es internacional (al menos regianl). En el sitio web de AGADU podés encontrar la infomración relativa a los requerimientos para el registro.
Otro sitio sería la United States Copyright Office, en la que podés realizar el registro vía correo o electrñonica (entenidendo esto último como informática). En el sitio web de la USCO podés encontrar toda la info que quieras (pero está en inglés, por supuesto).
Espero haberte ayudado. A lo mejor luego me preparo un buen resúmen con todas las formas de registrar derechos de autor a obras artísticas en este país. Y digo, por supeusto, formas artísticas ya que, por ejemplo, si quiciera registrar un software yo lo haría en otra parte, por ejemplo ^^

P.D.: También se puede registrar bajo derechos de reproducción un seudónimo, cosa que hicimos Leticia y yo y por lo que, los sucecivos registros que tenemos aparecen a nombre de Sachiko y Kuromaru Fukayama. B
